Off to the Vineyard

Well, for once I have a good reason for skipping out on the blog--I'm off to Martha's Vineyard for the weekend. I know nothing of this place except that a) it's an island and b) it's quaint. What quaint means, I can only guess, but I can tell you that it's very strange, as a Californian, to have to drive 4 hours to go to the beach. So, without computer access, I can give the old blog a break while I lie on the beach desperately wishing that I'd splurged more on some beach basics.
